Support Situation
We are sorry that our capacity for support is very limited. Since we opened our software as freeware, lots of new users came into the boat so that our answers may be very delayed. However, we will do our best to help you. If you experience a bug or want to request a new feature, have a look at the FAQ. If the FAQ does not help, send us an email.
FAQ
How can I configure or switch your software to learn English - Spanish?
Just open a lesson. You will find some in the Eng-Esp folder, which is located under "c:\program files\common files\foreign language\lessons\eng-esp".
Do any of your software allow users to input their own data?
Yes, all. You can make your own lessons with a texteditor or with our lesson editor Wordshop.
They said that your games have an English (French, Spanish ...) user interface. But now it is in a different language.
You can switch the user interface via the menu "User->Native Language". Well, it is in the first menu, the sixt option :-)
Have you developed anything for Linux or Mac?
No, sorry.
After the download I cannot open the zip file.
Retry the download. We use to proof our archives so that the uploaded version is not broken. Also make sure that you have software installed to unzip files.
I have downloaded and unzipped the software, but I get an error during installation.
There may be a misconfiguration with your windows. Try to install on another PC. If that also fails, send us an email. If you succeed, copy the folders
   - C:\Program Files\Foreign Language
   - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Foreign Language
to your PC. To start a game, click the exe file in the folder "C:\Program Files\Foreign Language\Game Collection". In the game, go to the menu "User->Create Link" to create a link on your desktop. Also go to "Game->Options->Advanced->Filetypes" as well as "Configuration" to check the filepaths.
The uninstall reported an error. How can I completely remove the software from my PC?
1. Delete the folders
   - C:\Program Files\Foreign Language
   - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Foreign Language
2. In the windows registry, delete the keys:
   - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ForeignLanguageHome
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.usm
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.usf
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.vok
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Lesson
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\User (female)
   - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\User (male)
